The time has finally come for Alyssa to come out of the shadows and review another Marvel movie. Doctor Strange was hyped and highly anticipated by people all over the world. Some of the reasons why it was hyped may not have been the best reason, like white-washing the Ancient One by casting Tilda Swinton, but none the less people were excited to see the official debut of the Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen Strange. I finally got around to seeing it Sunday night in full IMAX 3D glory, and my god this movie was fucking fantastic in every single way I can think of.

When it was announced that Marvel was releasing another Netflix show, I was automatically excited. I am a lover of Marvel anything so that just immediately excites me for anything Marvel that is announced and released. That being said, when Luke Cage was announced I had no idea what it was about and I kind of just ignored it (very much like Daredevil and Jessica Jones I wanted to be surprised). When I saw him for the first time in Jessica Jones, I immediately became more interested in the idea of the show.
I am dead. I am deceased. I am writing this review from my grave. If you’ve been following me for ages, or just know me period, you know that I am probably one of the worlds biggest Marvel fangirls. I’ve had by this time the chance to see Captain America: Civil war not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES. Once prescreening, once pirated online, and the third with friends. My opinion still is pretty much the same, but I was able to pick up on different things seeing it more than once. So here it is, my official Captain America Civil War Review!
As always read my spoiler warning here and don’t bitch if I reveal a spoiler.

Who else was hyped for Marvels Jessica Jones Season 1? Because I sure as hell was. It’s Marvel’s pretty much first ever thing to be lead by a female actress. As a matter of fact, I was so excited to watch this that I watched all 13 episodes in probably less than 48 hours. So after all that binging, here I am with my review on Jessica Jones, Season 1!
Avengers: Age of Ultron is what the nerd world has been waiting for. With every teaser trailer we shed a few tears and we pray for May 1st to come closer. But alas, fellow nerds, the day will be arriving soon. If you’re like me and absolutely can’t wait any longer for the movie to release, you are going to an advanced screening of the film. You are coming home from college the week before finals specifically to see this film as soon as possible. Well, that last part may just be me.
Every Marvel fan knows that when a new Avengers movie comes out, a new phase of the cinematic universe begins. If you’re like me, by this time you have re-watched every film starting with Captain America: The First Avenger all the way to the latest release of phase 2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier to prepare yourself for the release of the best movie of the year (in my opinion, at least) Avengers: Age of Ultron.
For those of you who haven’t done so, have no fear! I am here to recap! From Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, & the show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it will be covered! For a bit of help, I recruited my good friend Evan to help me out with two of these reviews! He’ll be taking on Iron Man 3 for me (because I did not like Iron Man 3 at all), while I take on Dark World, Winter Soldier, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D!
Before we begin, make sure you follow Evan on Twitter @BombasticRelish and follow him. He is one of us! A nerd, that is.
