Daily vlogging is a commitment. It’s not just something that I thought of overnight and decided to do one day, it was something that I had been thinking of for a long time. It doesn’t just effect the way you live your own personal life, but it effects the people around you as well, even though you may not think so. It’s not as simple as turning a camera on and recording. So much more goes into daily vlogging.
On April of last year I made a post ‘10 Things I Have Learned in my First Year of College‘. In an effort to get back to writing about college and my experience (which is the whole point of me blogging), I’m going to do an updated version of the list where some things may be different and some may be the same. I’ll try to make the points in this post reflect points in the old post so we can see how much my opinions have changed over the year. Without further ado, here are 10 New Things I’ve Learned While Being at College!
My first year at college, I brought a lot of things that I did not need at all. To many clothes, shoes, towels, etc. that just cluttered up my room and drove me nuts. Now that i’m home, its time to get cracking and organize what I am going to keep packed for move in day and what I am going to ditch! Here is my guide on how to organize after moving out of college!
Moving out of college for some is a very sad time. They make friends in their first year that they can’t imagine living without and having to be apart from for 3 months of summer break. I have an experience like that right now.
With finals week fast approaching (or already approached, in the case of myself), students are stressed and/or stressing about getting that final exam nailed and out of the way. For most, its about 75% or more of their final grade and can impact if they get the A or get stuck in the B range, like myself. Everybody deals with finals week differently than the next, but I’ve got 5 things that I think a typical college student (like myself) should have by them at all times for finals week. Here are my Finals Week Must Haves!
As my first year at college draws to a close, I learned. I knew that going into college would require an open mind and the willingness to learn new things and have new experiences. I’ve discovered multiple things about college in my first year that are going to make the next three years so much easier for myself, and hopefully these next few things will help anybody else who is entering college as well.
