Marvel’s ANT-MAN movie Review!

Hey all! Back at it with a new movie review! This one is for Marvel’s Ant-Man. At first I was a little bit iffy on seeing the film, because I wasn’t quite sure what it was about. But as the promotion became bigger I decided, what the hell, why not? I ended up seeing it a week after it actually came out of theaters – the day it came out I had just returned home from Chicago and sleep was calling my name.

Marvel’s ANT-MAN movie Review!

There will be slight spoilers. And a massive one at the end.

So Ant-Man revolves around Scott lang, a criminal who just got out of jail and is trying to turn his life around for his daughter Cassie. In a weird way, he gets selected to become the Ant-Man, but I’ll leave that one for you to discover. The Ant-Man suit basically is a suit that shrinks him to the size of an ant, where he then becomes allies with ants and can also control them with an ear piece device of sorts.

Anyways, what I liked best about this movie was the pacing. I thought the pacing of this film was amazing, they had all the action and everything happen at just the right time. The build up to the big action scene was enough to keep you watching to see what in the world it would be.

My favorite scene of the movie (excluding the end credit scene – which I will get to) is the fight scene at Avengers Base with Ant Man and Falcon. It was action packed and comedic. Now onto my favorite part.

THAT END CREDIT SCENE THOUGH!! No, not that stupid mid credit scene, i’m talking about the one at the very, very end. If you don’t know what I am talking about, you’re about to find out.

The very end credit scene of the movie includes Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers, dressed like themselves, are in what looks to be an abandoned Hydra base and there’s a confused looking body leaning over what looks to be a memory wiper from TWS.

ITS BUCKY. BUCKY BARNES.

Needless to say I freaked out a bit. Hands down my favorite part of the whole movie was that scene. How am I supposed to live until Civil War now??

All in all, movie gets a 5 star from me!
