Make Up Review: Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick & Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade

Make Up Review

Hey there! So a few days after I wrote my previous post about my Sephora haul i went back to Sephora and bought two more things… I waited to write this because I felt having two review posts immediately after one another was to much. Then I forgot about it and finals week attacked me. I always wanted to try a Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick, and I wanted something better to do my brows with that actually matched so I also purchased an Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade. Read my reviews below the cut!

Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick

What I bought: Melted Fig – $21 at Sephora

What I love about this: The color!! The color is everything! I wanted something a little darker but not to dark, cause I’m really pale so darker tones on my lips stick out and I feel like I would just look awful. But this is a tad darker but I feel like it fits me really well. It spreads on really evenly and really easily as well.

What I don’t like about this: It doesn’t stay on very well. The woman in Sephora told me that when I was debating between a Kat Von D liquid lipstick (which you all know I love from my last review) and this. I ended up going with this because I want to try it. The Kat stays on literally all day and this one comes off immediately after you eat something or drink something.

Overall opinion: I love it and all, but I don’t think I would buy another one of these again. I had the impression that it dried very matte, and for me at least, it didn’t and I found myself having to continuously reapply.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade

What I bought: Ebony – $18 at Sephora

What I love about this: The shade just matches so perfectly. It’s extremely easy to get on and spread evenly. The packaging is adorable and so chic. The formula is amazing as well and it fills in my brows very nicely.

What I don’t like about this: Although the formula is great and all, it was also very easy for me to accidentally put to much on my brush (I use an ELF Concealer Brush for this cause I don’t use the brush for my concealer at all) and have my brows look to dark. But that could also be my fault, for I am make up inexperienced.

Overall opinion: I’ll be buying this again. I love how it goes on, and there’s a lot of product inside the package so I’ll probably be using this for quite some time and won’t have to buy a new one for a couple of months.
