The time has finally come for Alyssa to come out of the shadows and review another Marvel movie. Doctor Strange was hyped and highly anticipated by people all over the world. Some of the reasons why it was hyped may not have been the best reason, like white-washing the Ancient One by casting Tilda Swinton, but none the less people were excited to see the official debut of the Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen Strange. I finally got around to seeing it Sunday night in full IMAX 3D glory, and my god this movie was fucking fantastic in every single way I can think of.

When it was announced that Marvel was releasing another Netflix show, I was automatically excited. I am a lover of Marvel anything so that just immediately excites me for anything Marvel that is announced and released. That being said, when Luke Cage was announced I had no idea what it was about and I kind of just ignored it (very much like Daredevil and Jessica Jones I wanted to be surprised). When I saw him for the first time in Jessica Jones, I immediately became more interested in the idea of the show.
When I first heard of a movie about bad people doing good things, I laughed in my head. Bad people don’t do good things. But then I saw the trailer for Suicide Squad, and immediately I was hooked. It looked like an awesome go out and have a fun night and some drinks kind of movie. But when it came out, the critics absolutely tore it apart. So here I am, (two weeks late) adding my review to the mix of the critic reviews. Here is my Suicide Squad Movie Review!
It’s no secret that I am a die hard Harry Potter fan, and as I go through phases of life things seem to keep coming and going but Harry Potter seems to stay. I bought Harry Potter and the Cursed Child from Barnes and Noble a little while (maybe about a week) after it came out. This was of course after seeing numerous friends from Twitter saying it was absolutely terrible. I thought “This can not be! Queen Rowling could never put out something terrible!”. Needless to say, I rushed out to the store to get it and I banged out the whole thing in about two or three hours. Here is my honest review of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child!

If it hadn’t been for Zoella’s recent vlog post from July 6th, I never would have heard of this book. She talked about it at the end and read the back cover of the book and instantly I was interested in hooked. I spent the rest of the day updating my iPad (which I read on) and getting that up and running then buying the book to read the next day. I blew through it in a whole day, so here below is my If I Was Your Girl Book Review!

If you haven’t heard of Zoella than you must not use Youtube at all, and you also must live under a rock. She’s got over 10 million subscribers on her channel, her own beauty line as well as a series of books titled Girl Online. The first book came out in November 2014, which is titled Girl Online (obviously) and the second came out a year later titled Girl Online: On Tour. She announced on July 9th that her third book is coming out later this year and is titled Girl Online: Going Solo.
Zoe’s books have been on my reading list for quite a while and since I’ve discovered that reading helps keep my anxiety levels down, I finally bought it from the iBooks Store and gave it a read yesterday. I demolished it all in one sitting.
