Its a no brainer that if you have a WordPress website, you need to have some plug ins to go along with it. Plug ins make your website better, they add extras to it that you won’t get with blogger or if you don’t use them at all. With blogging, WordPress pug ins can be used to the advantage of the blogger, as I have discovered. Here are some WordPress plug ins that you need to have for your blog.
Its hard being a young person with a creative mind, no one takes you seriously at all. Seriously, I tell people that I want to be a film director and make action, sci-fi, and fantasy movies and nine times out of ten people are like “Yeah, okay.” People often don’t listen much to what teenagers, college students and young adults have to say because they believe that we will change our mind as to what we want to do, while there are people like me who are being absolutely dead serious. Now i’m at the stage where in my spare time I am writing what I am planning to be a novel that was half inspired by Game of Thrones. I kept telling everybody “I’m going to write a novel, just you wait!” and no one believed me – until I shared with them a synopsis and an excerpt of the first chapter. Here’s the first post in what may become a series: So You Want to Write a Novel But No One is Taking You Seriously.
I’m new to the lifestyle aspect of the blogging scene. I used to just blog about anything I wished and not think anything of it. Only about a month ago at this point did I decide that I wanted to redefine my blog and maybe make a few extra bucks on the side. I trolled through Pinterest (of course – my mother calls me the Queen of Pinterest now) and started following blogs and trying to mimic what they do to attract readers and viewers. I’ve become so addicted to looking at my blog that I even downloaded some apps for my iPhone to look at my blog stats on and more. Here are 8 apps that bloggers need to have on their phones!
My first year at college, I brought a lot of things that I did not need at all. To many clothes, shoes, towels, etc. that just cluttered up my room and drove me nuts. Now that i’m home, its time to get cracking and organize what I am going to keep packed for move in day and what I am going to ditch! Here is my guide on how to organize after moving out of college!
Fanfiction can be a tricky thing to write, depending on the fandom. Fanfiction readers are often very picky people as to what goes into the story and what stays out. Some people can be very judgemental, which is why some writers (like me sometimes) are so afraid to post their stories. But I have learned over the past few years some things that have helped me become more confident in my writing, some that I have seen online and others that I have learned myself. Here are my 7 tips to writing fanfiction.
As my first year at college draws to a close, I learned. I knew that going into college would require an open mind and the willingness to learn new things and have new experiences. I’ve discovered multiple things about college in my first year that are going to make the next three years so much easier for myself, and hopefully these next few things will help anybody else who is entering college as well.
