I know I said that I was done with review posts – but hear me out. The My Scheming Mask looked like it would actually be some help for my skin. I found it from Youtube and bought it off of amazon to try. What is it? A carbonated black head peel off mask that is supposed to pull out your blackheads and other gross crap from within your pores. When I look at my pores they always look like they’re full of gross crap so I thought I would try this. I found the mask on Amazon for $10 with free shipping.
Note: it’s not meant to go all over your face. It’s probably not meant for your chin either, but I did it anyways. Read below to see my steps and thoughts.
You guys have been getting a ton of reviews from me, but that’s because I’ve been reading and watching movies. Hidden Figures, the story of three black women in the 60’s working for NASA and having to struggle to climb up the scale, looked like it was going to be amazing from the start. Their work was revolutionary to the company and started an equal rights movement for NASA.
Katherine Johnson was recently awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work in NASA. The film in based on true events and was absolutely spectacular. As always, read my spoiler warning before you proceed.
Since the day it was announced that Sherlock was getting a fourth season, the world was on edge waiting. First we had to wait two years for a special. Then we had to wait another whole year for a full season. By god, was it worth the wait. Sherlock season 4 had us on the edge of our seats every minute of all three episodes.
We were warned back at the first table read that it was going to be a heart breaking season. We were warned that the scripts moved the cast the to tears. I know that I was on the edge of my seat wanting more at the end of every episode. Without further ado, here are my Sherlock Series 4 Thoughts below the cut.
I heard the term bullet journal a few months ago from a Youtuber that I watch daily and follow. I had kind of just brushed it off as a way to stay organized and never ended up looking into it until now. You’re probably asking yourself: what the hell is a bullet journal? You can read about that over here and I will explain to you my thoughts about what the hell a bullet journal is below.
I joined Blogging for Books back in 2014 and finally got around to reading and reviewing the first book I requested. The the title of that book is I Take You, Here is the summary from Amazon’s website:
Meet Lily Wilder: New Yorker, lawyer extraordinaire, blushing bride. And totally incapable of being faithful to one man.
Lily’s fiancé Will is a brilliant, handsome archaeologist. Lily is sassy, impulsive, fond of a good drink (or five) and has no business getting married. Lily likes Will, but does she love him? Will loves Lily, but does he know her? As the wedding approaches, Lily’s nights—and mornings, and afternoons—of booze, laughter and questionable decisions become a growing reminder that the happiest day of her life might turn out to be her worst mistake yet.
Unapologetically sexy with the ribald humor of Bridesmaids, this joyously provocative debut introduces a self-assured protagonist you won’t soon forget.
And boy where they right. This isn’t a book I would normally read, I’m really into YA Fiction novels, but I couldn’t help myself to have a love/hate relationship with Lily Wilder as time went on.
I have a lot of books I need to read and even more that I find interesting and need to go out and buy. I took some time to go onto Goodreads and assemble a bookshelf full of the books that I have purchased and need to read. You can follow me and that bookshelf specifically here and take a look at what I keep buying to read! The shelf ‘Need to Read’ is the shelf where I have purchased the book and desperately need to read and review it, the shelf ‘Want to Read’ is mainly just books that catch my eye. So without further ado, here is my 2017 Reading List thus far! This is in no particular order in which I’ll read them, just the first one is what I’m going to read first.
